Sharp and inconspicuous

My Mtech Xreme Stealth arrived yesterday morning, and I used it for work immediately in the afternoon. Extac did a great job delivering this knife to me. Thanks, guys. As for the knife itself, it came right out of the box sharp. The Kydex-like sheath does a great job holding the blade secure, and however which way it is carried, including handle down, it will not fall out. The dark grey finish clearly will not chip off easily. The glass breaker at the tip of the handle would work in a rescue situation quite well, although some care needs to be exercised, as it is pointed enough to cause injury if not handled right. I would recommend that new owners familiarise themselves with their new knife before deploying it. I wore this on my tactical belt for night shift duty, wearing 511 tactical black trousers. While on patrol, despite the fact that it was sitting on my hip, none of my colleagues actually noticed it. It is really quite stealthy. It could be carried concealed under a jacket, as it is not too long, nor is it heavy. With some paracord, it would be easy to fix up a makeshift shoulder rig for this, as the sheath has eyelets and strap holes. It could also be carried as a boot knife, and if the belt loop is unscrewed, it can also be worn inside one's pants. All in all, this was a great purchase for the price. For most tactical and field operations, this knife would be more than sufficient for the job.
