This walking stick truly is what others have already said. It oozes elegance and sophistication, yet it is surprisingly lightweight. This is quite the compliment atracter. In terms of functionality, I personally find the handle extremely comfortable. I suffer from a very rare muscular disorder and use a combination of a stick and a wheelchair at all times. If you are using this purely for disability purposes as I am, I probably wouldn't recommend this for anyone less than 5"11 tall. I'm almost 6 feet tall and find it a few inches longer than what a physiotherapist would recommend. There may be a possibility of getting a professional to cut off a few inches at the bottom and add a new rubber tip, but please consult an expert as I don't know what it may do to the tightly wound fiber glass and steel core. I also own the standard city walking stick from cold steel, and it's lasted me over well over 10 years now, so I can guarantee this stick will stand the testament of time. Lasting and possibly the most important thing (to me) about all cold steel walking sticks are their self defense capabilites. I in no way condone the use of this unless you're truly in danger, but these sticks have literally saved my life on 2 occasions. So they definitely give you the confidence to fend off an attacker even when you live with a disability!
