About Valyrian Steel

Originally founded in the year 2000 in East Lansing, Michigan, is now located in Chattanooga Tennessee and is a world leading manufacturer of licensed collectibles from film, television, books, and video games.  

We hold intellectual property and work directly with other IP holders to bring their vision to life in the form of a real tangible product to be enjoyed by collector's around the globe. 

Past and current partners include HBO, Warner Bros, Sony, Amazon Studios, Netflix, NBC Universal, George R.R. Martin, Patrick Rothfuss, and CD Projekt Red. 

Our priority is always making the highest quality product possible with special attention being paid to packaging, presentation, and overall product display design. We understand that for major studios replica merchandise is a marketing tool in as much as a revenue generation tool and our products increase the marketing reach, ecosystem, and overall community around IP.  Our products have been seen by hundreds of millions of people outside of the IP from which they are licensed through placement on other TV shows and media.  You may have seen one of our swords hanging on the set of the Big Bang Theory, in a skit on Saturday Night Live or Late Night with Seth Meyers, in magazine photoshoots or commercials, or featured at special events such as Major League Baseball games. 

The Valyrian Steel ® Collection is a series of weapons and arms created from the fantasy world of author George R.R. martin's best selling book series "A Song of Ice and Fire". Each limited edition entry in this collection is made of only the highest quality materials available with special attention made to the finish and detailing. Based on Mr. Martin's meticulously detailed notes and descriptions, the design of each piece reflects the rich characters and history of his magnificent saga.

We obtained the exclusive license to produce arms and armor from "A Song of Ice and Fire" in late 2006. Later we also obtained the exclusive license to do weapons and armors from HBO®'s hit TV series Game of Thrones®. Now we make replicas both from the books and from the TV show.
